문학텍스트를 통한 매체전환 연구
-동명소설의 영화 〈우리들의 행복한 시간〉 모티프 변형을 중심으로-

디지털기술의 발달로 개별적으로 존재하던 매체들이 유기적인 통합과정을 거쳐 장르전환을 이루고 있다. 특히 문자로 된 텍스트가 매체의 특성에 맞게 영화, 뮤지컬, 연극, 게임, 만화 등으로 재매개되고 있는데, 이때 다양한 콘텐츠들의 소통을 가능케 하는 요소가 이야기다. 따라서 매체전환을 이룰 때 원천텍스트의 이야기 구조는 매체의 형식이 결정한다고 할 수 있다. 이러한 사실이 콘텐츠 개발의 첫 출발점에 있는 이야기를 만들어내는 모티프 변형의 중요성을 역설한다. 다시 말해 같은 소재를 다루면서도 전혀 다른 분위기로 소통할 수 있는 근거가 모티프로, 원천텍스트의 모티프를 변형·추가하여 매체전환의 과정을 통해 다양하게 재탄생되는 것이다. 디지털기술의 발달이 가속화되는 오늘날 이 기술 속에 담을 콘텐츠, 즉 OSMU(One Source Multi Use)라는 콘텐츠의 속성이 콘텐츠의 소재를 제공하는 문학의 중요성을 부각시킨다. 콘텐츠 개발에 근간이 되는 이야기의 보고인 문학텍스트에 영상을 적극적으로 도입하는 방법론에 관한 연구가 필요한 시점이다. 이러한 문제의식에서 본고는 문학텍스트를 통한 매체전환에 따른 콘텐츠 개발에 도움을 줄 수 있는 방법론을 모색하고자 했다. 매체이동을 통해서 같은 소재를 다루면서도 전혀 다른 이야기로 소통한 동명소설의 영화 <우리들의 행복한 시간>을 분석하여 매체이동을 통해 재탄생되고 있는 콘텐츠들이 어떤 유기적인 관련성을 가지고 재매개되는지를 문학적 관점에서 심층적으로 고찰하였다.

A Study on Media Conversion through Literary Text

According to the development of digital technology, individual media are changing their genres through an organic integration process. In particular, written text is recreated into movies, musicals, plays, games and comics to suit the characteristics of the media. Thus, it can be said that the story structure of the original text is determined by the format of the media. This fact highlights the importance of Motif transformation, the stories are created in content development. In other words, the reason why the same material can be communicated in a completely different way is through the process of transformation of the source text into the media. With the development of digital technology accelerating, the nature of contents to be contained in this technology, namely, one source multiple use(OSMUs), highlights the importance of literature that provides content. It is time to study how to actively introduce images into literary texts, a report of stories that will lead to content development. In this sense of issue, the paper sought a methodology that could help develop content based on a media conversion through literary text. An in-depth analysis of the movie “Maundy Thursday” of the same novel, which deals with the same material through media transfer but communicates with completely different stories, content that is reproduced through media movement.
