The liberal arts education, Pansori, and its present meaning

The purpose of this study is to examine the status of Korean classical literary works in the liberal arts education and to make sure that Pansori can stand in the position of 'classics' which holds the universal value of mankind under the concept of 'classical'. Furthermore, if Pansori is applied to the field of liberal arts education in universities, it provides a brief outline of what the actual application.
It is true that Korean classical literary works actually have only regional literary on the edge of the world. However, these Korean classical literary works got the name 'classical' because it was in the position of canon in Korean language education as well as the efforts of early Korean literature scholars.
In liberal arts education, the value of Pansori can be reconsidered when it restores the openness of Pansori. Pansori is definitely canon, but it is not canon at the same time. This is because the possibilities of the interpretation of the individual version are open, and the creation of the new version is possible at any time. If anyone knows, but no one has actually read it, then the pansori can be provided with new readings at any time in accordance with the efforts of the instructor. If you think that you know the classics and you realize the more original and unexpected stories when you read the book, it is obvious that Pansori, which can be modified and changed all the time, can be placed in the position of 'classics'.
