Meaning of Liberal Arts Education through Learning by Doing

  This study aims to examine the case study of the liberal arts education through learning by doing, in Humanitas College at Kyung Hee University, for cultivating creative, emotional and global talent as an important task of our age. Therefore the importance of the liberal arts education and meaning of Learning by doing is discussed, in the base of four-years experiences of liberal arts education through learning by doing. Through the aesthetic experience education of Humanitas College, we can be convinced on possibility of connecting academy to authentic life, cultivating creative, emotional and scientific thinking, and maturing civic awareness with confidence in liberal arts education.
