The anti-corruption and integrity capacity that can improve the level of integrity is not a requirement for a specific group, but a civil quality required for all members of our society and a core value for maintaining a social community. To promote this, anti-corruption and integrity education are an essential element of civic education. Under ‘the Act on the Prevention of Corruption and the Establishment and Management of the Anti-Corruption and Civil Rights Commission’ and ‘the Improper Solicitation and Graft Act’, public officials are required to receive integrity education in Korea. However, education for specific groups, such as public officials, cannot change the perception of many members and lead to correct practice. Integrity education needs to be expanded and operated throughout the society, and suppliers who can provide integrity education are distributed throughout the society. Furthermore, accessibility of integrity education needs to be improved. The same is true for future generations as well as general citizens.
